For me, Personal Branding is the art of investing in you based on the value you bring to others.

Advertising man, Master in Marketing Management and Humanities degree (in progress), my first 20 working years served me to know the brand concept thoroughly. Since 2005, I apply this knowledge to people in organizations, because I think that today P2P communication (Person to person) is more powerful than traditional communication tools.

My story

How it all begun

When I was a kid I was shocked by the scientist Stephen Hawking and his hability to connect to the world despite illness. Perhaps it was that triggered my interest in communication, because getting in touch with people is a real challenge.

Why (my vision)

"He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how" (Nietzsche).

I discovered mine at the end of my stage as advertising in 2004: I help to draw futures.

Sometimes I express the metaphor: Shiner of XXI century, I love to make others shine .

How (my mission)

Humanizing companies (they need to) to connect better with their stakeholders. And raise awareness of business to people (they need it) identify, plan and promote their brand and become references.

I can't complain about my advertising career: BBDO, J.Walter Thompson, Bassat & Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, Altraforma, TVLowCost….From assistant to director and partner through creative, executive, planner ... In my career as a personal brander I started in Lateral Consulting, then Soymimarca…

Activities

After a period of 8 years as founder and partner Soymimarca, I'm now consultant, trainer and lecturer in corporate programs of Executive Branding and Personal Branding, Employee Advocacy & Employer Branding.

further, I volunteer in TED TEDxEixample, where I act as speaker curator with an impressive team.

My claim

I believe everything leaves a mark, what we do and what we don't do, and that is in our hands to manage that brand to our goals. What inspires me is the humanization of branding processes.

Lecturer

I collaborate since 2015 as lecturer of Personal Branding in the Master in Social Media and Digital Marketing Tecnocampus UPF. Since 2018, collaborate as lecturer Personal Branding in the Master in Digital Marketing and Social Media of the University of Vic. At ISDI I also collaborate with in its Global Executive Master in Digital Business.
