How much would you pay to listen to Joshua Bell live?

Desde el Washington Post nos llega uno de los relatos más interesantes que he oído en años.

This is an experiment: What if you passed by a music virtuoso on the subway, at rush hour? That you wouldn't listen to him.. For two reasons:

1. You don't have time.. It's rush hour. Tu mente está en no perder ni un solo segundo.

2. Jamás creerías que un genio como Joshua Bell pueda estar tocando el violín en el metro con una cesta que pretende recaudar algunas monedas.

Pues eso es exactamente lo que pasó. Here's the full story “Pearls before breakfast” of the The Washington Post. Es un poco largo, pero no os lo perdáis. In essence, Bell se plantó en el metro de Washington DC durante 45 minutos en hora punta. Pasaron más de 1.000 personas mientras él interpretaba magistralmente algunas piezas de Bach. Sólo pararon algunos niños, alucinados, mientras sus padres tiraban de ellos para no llegar tarde. Joshua Bell consiguió -a pesar de todo- recaudar 36 Dollars, una cifra que ningún músico de metro despreciaría.
